Hello Devil Rays Families,

Wow, Wow, Wow!! What an amazing swim season this has been and we just topped it off with an outstanding Divisionals Championship meet. Our swimmers came out and gave it their all. Their summer of hard work has paid off with a lot of personal bests, goals met, and happy kids! More than the success in the pool are the smiles, friendships, and excitement I see every week that make summer swim the best 9 weeks all year.  

A lot of work went into planning and hosting Divisionals with a lot of unexpected mental work the day before the meet. A huge shout out to Kate Boram, Katie Larcom, and Lauren Gordon, your new Team Reps, for working on Divisional planning all season and a lot of physical labor 24 hours beforehand. I am so excited to see where our team is headed under their direction.

We had a lot of compliments from the guest teams about the organization and smooth operation of the meet. Thank you to everyone that took on additional volunteer roles at the last minute to make this happen. We are so happy you all are part of our team, you make us look good.

Banquet and Awards Ceremony:

The Banquet and Awards Ceremony is scheduled for this Tuesday, July 21 at 6PM. Everyone who wanted to attend should have turned in their banquet form and payment. We are watching the weather for Tuesday and will need to make a call to move the banquet to our scheduled rain date of Thursday, July 23rd by Monday night at 6PM to give the restaurants providing our dinner proper notice.

Here is a sign up genius for everyone to complete to gauge attendance if we move the banquet to Thursday night. Please take a moment to let us know if your family will be able to attend the rain date if necessary. Banquet Rain Date Availability

Banquet and Awards Ceremony Volunteers:

We will need some volunteers for a successful banquet. Please take a moment and sign up for one of the jobs to cut and chill watermelon before the banquet, help setup or help serve.

We would like to request all swimmers wear their white Devil Rays shirt they received this year to the banquet.

Banquet Seating: We are so happy that so many families can attend the banquet this year but that means deck space will be tight. Please bring chairs from home and if you have a banquet table to loan please let me know. 

Also, please make sure we leave room for all swimmers to be up front for the slide show.   

All Stars:

Good luck to our All Star qualified swimmers who will be competing this Saturday.
