Dear Devil Rays Families,

We have received the following message from FSSL:

Based on the current conditions and forecast, the League will not be issuing a league-wide cancellation or postponement of divisional meets. The decision on whether and how to conduct a divisional meet rests with each individual division. Host teams, visiting teams, and families should make the decision they believe is most appropriate based on air quality conditions and the well-being of their swimmers."

Division 4 Championship Meet will proceed as planned. We will reassess the air quality in the morning and communicate any changes by 5:30 am.

If you feel being outside is not a safe situation for your family, please reach out and we can remove your swimmer from the meet. We understand this is not an easy decision but will support whatever you feel is best for your swimmer and family.  

We will be tight on volunteers tomorrow.  This might mean we have to switch some peoples jobs around.  Some roles will take priority over others as they will be necessary to run the meet.  We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work this out on the go in the morning.
