This email contains a lot of information about our Divisonals Meet, the Banquet and the end of summer swim season. Please take a moment to read to the end.

Another great meet by our swimmers yesterday. Although it was not a team win there were a lot of personal bests and smiles. Our swimmers have been working so hard this season and should be proud of how far they have all come, I sure am proud of all our swimmers. Meet results are attached.

This will be our last week of practices.  We hope to see as many swimmers as possible this week, especially for the last fun Friday.  

Divisionals Sign Up: The deadline to declare your swimmer will be a day early, Monday, July 13th by midnight. Please sign your swimmer up now. All swimmers can attend divisionals, each swimmer can swim in 3 individual races and 1 relay (coaches pick relays). If your swimmer has not swum in 2 regular season meets they can still swim at Divisionals as exhibition, this means they will just be swimming for a personal best time and will not be competing for a place or points, but they can still qualify for All Stars as an exhibition swimmer.

Volunteers for Divisionals: Volunteer Roles will open tonight at 6pm for Divisionals. This is an all hands on deck meet, it is a big event for our team to host 4 other teams. There are some different jobs on the list this week, but they will still all allow you to step away to see your swimmer compete. Please help us make this a fun and memorable meet for the kids by pitching in and lending an extra hand as needed. It really takes a village to run this meet and I am confident that with your help, it will be a great success.

Divisionals Pep Rally: The last pep rally of the season is this Friday, July 17th from 7 to 8pm. We will have a guppy swim, fun relays, tattoos, a sweet treat, and chalk the deck to welcome everyone to Divisionals.

Parent/Coach relay: There will be a parent and coach relay race at the pep rally. Parents, we need you! Bring your best doggie paddle, side stroke, or butterfly, no matter your swim experience all are welcome and encouraged to participate. You cheer on your swimmers all summer, now it is time for them to cheer for you. Please let me know if you’d like to participate by replying to this email. Thank you in advance for being a good sport and creating this fun memory for our kids and letting them know you are never too old to have fun!

PRE-TEAM- There will be a guppy swim at the pep rally. We are looking forward to cheering on our little rays and seeing how far they have come this season. Parents be on the lookout for an email from Lauren to sign up your swimmer. Reminder- pre-teams last day of practice will be July 24th.

Divisionals Meet- July 18th The theme is Surf’s Up! Swimmer check in will be at 6:15 am, warm ups at 6:30am, meet start at 8am. This meet runs longer than normal, it is the Division 4 Championship meet with all 5 teams in our division. Families will be separated by team and sitting out on the soccer field. Please be prepared for a long meet on a hot day, bring lots of fluids, sunscreen and bug spray. More details will be coming out in the Meet Notice later this week.

End of Season Slide Show: It is time to collect pictures for the slide show. Please use the link to add pictures from the season to your family file. You may add 5 photos per swimmer to your family file, for example: if you have 3 swimmers you can add 15 total photos. These photos will be used in our end of season slide show shown at the end of the banquet.

Banquet and Awards Ceremony: July 21st 6-9pm. This event is for all registered swimmers, including pre-team swimmers, non-meet participants, and meet swimmers. We want to recognize everyone’s hard work this summer. Banquet forms are in your swimmers file. All banquet forms and payment are due by Friday, July 17th. Forms should be turned into the red banquet folder in the file box.

All Star Qualifiers- be on the look out for emails to be coming out soon with practicea and meet information.  Registration is now open to declare your swimmers, you can only select events they have qualified for. If you have questions about all stars please let me know.
