Hello Devil Rays Families,

The rain can't stop the Devil Rays!  Another great meet from our swimmers with a win over the Rip Tides and Killer Whales.  We love watching our swimmers doing their best in the water, their smiles on deck, and having fun with friends.  Meet results are attached.

Congratulations to our Pre-Team Swimmers for completing the Guppy Race this weekend.  Everyone was so brave and had a lot of fun showing off their skills.  We have some speedy little rays.  

Bye Week: There is no meet scheduled for this coming weekend.  

Practices.  There will be regular practices Monday to Thursday this week.  

**No practice on Friday, July 3rd**

5 and 10 year Awards: Please email Marlena Schweikart at [email protected] and let her know if this is your child's 5th or 10th year on the team. Deadline is July 1st.  We had a hiccup at last year's banquet so if we missed their 5 or 10 year award last year, please let us know. The awards will be presented at the banquet.

July 3rd Walkersville Fireman’s Parade: We are honored to be invited to march in the parade to celebrate our town and America’s 250th Anniversary! Please sign up through the Parade Sign-Up to let us know if you will be there. Let's show everyone how great it is to be a Devil Ray!  We will have an amazing Devil Ray float the swimmers will walk alongside. Details for parade line up are on the sign up link. Parade marchers are allowed to throw candy, if your swimmer wants to throw candy please provide them with a bag of candy.

Dearbought Residents: Stop by our tent and say hi after the July 4th neighborhood parade.  Devil Ray volunteers will be passing out hot dogs to parade participants.  We are happy to give back to our community for their continued support of the Devil Rays for the last 25 years.  

Divisionals T-Shirt Order: The t-shirts for this swim meet are ready for online order! Order your Division Championship Shirts Here. All shirts will be ready for pickup at the meet. Online ordering is open from June 28 - July 8 midnight. All shirts will be ready for pick up at the meet. There will not be a t-shirt vendor onsite. There are many color, size, and fabric options to choose from.

July 18th Divisionals Meet, swimmer sign ups now open, swimmers must have participated in 2 regular season meets.

July 21st Team Banquet- all swimmers will be recognized for their hard work and participation throughout the season, whether you participated in meets or not.
