We are gearing up for another fun week! Great job to everyone who attended time trials.  Our swimmers showed a lot of heart and perseverance with returning swimmers striving for new times and first time swimmers establishing times and figuring out how a swim meet works.  Shout out to all our parents, it really takes a village to run a swim meet and you all showed up ready to go.  The time trials results are attached.  

Practice: 

Regular practice this week Monday to Thursday.  No practice on Friday for the pep rally.  

Meet Saturday, June 13th:

Our first meet will be home at Dearbought. Our theme for this meet will be Western! We are hosting Villages of Urbana and Tallyn Ridge. You must declare or decline your swimmers by Tuesday at midnight. You are able to sign your child up for a maximum of 4 individual events for this meet. Coaches will choose the swimmers for relays. If you have event questions or need to know if your child is ready for a particular stroke, you can email coaches for their input. 

Volunteers for June 13th:

When you declare your swimmer click on the volunteer sign up next, and choose your volunteer position for the meet. Our home meets require many volunteers, it is all hands on deck to have a successful home meet. The job sign up was posted tonight at 6:00 PM. Volunteer positions must be selected by Wednesday, June 10th! If you do not choose a volunteer slot, one will be assigned to you!

Pep Rally Friday, June12th:

Pep Rally 7:00-8:00 PM- Come get pepped up for our Western themed home meet! There will be activities, a treat and a fun time for everyone.

Deck Set Up

At the parent meeting we went over the requirement for one person from every family to sign up for a deck set up (the night before a meet) or deck reset (at the conclusion of the meet) session.  We had a sign up sheet but still need all families to claim a spot.  If you have already signed up we have added your names to the sign up genius, if you were not able to sign up after the parent meeting please take a moment and sign up now using this link. Deck Set Up and Reset Sign-Up
