Swim Season Whoop Whoop!

Hello Hello,

Welcome to the 2026 swim season! We are so excited to get back on deck and see both returning swimmers and new faces this season. The coaching staff has been looking forward to the summer, and we can’t wait to get started. Tuesday officially kicks off our season, and I wanted to take a moment to share a few important reminders and updates as we begin. The first week is always an exciting one as swimmers get back into the routine, reconnect with teammates, and begin building confidence for the season ahead. We appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility as we get things rolling.

I would like to welcome Coach Jen the new Assistant Coach to the team this season as well as Coach Luke a new Pre Team Coach. I know they are eager to get started and get to know everyone. Our goal this summer is to create a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where every swimmer can improve, gain confidence, support their teammates, and enjoy being part of the team. Whether this is your swimmer’s first season or they’ve been with us for years, we are excited to help them grow both in and out of the pool.

The practice times for the next couple of weeks for afternoon practices are below. The first week of practice will be different this year than previous seasons. Tuesday May 26th and Thursday May 28thwill be for anyone with the last names starting A-M. Wednesday May 27th and Friday May 29th will be anyone who’s last name starts with N-Z. That is just for the first week.

  • 6:30 - 7:15 pm 8 years and under
  • 7:15 - 8:00 pm 9 -12 years old
  • 8:00 - 8:45 pm 13 years and older

The water will be cold to start out the season. Please remember to have something warm for your swimmer to change into after practice. If the water is too cold for your swimmer and they want to get out of the pool that is completely okay also.

In regards to weather, there is rain in the forecast. If a practice needs to be canceled due to rain or other weather conditions we will send out an email/alert to notify everyone, as well as post to our Facebook page.

We also encourage you to download SwimTopia's mobile app. With this app we'll be able to communicate with you through push notifications. This is helpful when we need to get information to you quickly, such as rain delays or weather alerts.

To receive push alerts on your phone:

  1. Download the SwimTopia mobile app on the App Store or Google Play
  2. Login with your SwimTopia login (you must have an activated login on the team site to login to your account on the app)
  3. Check your apps notification setting- ensure that it is set to pop up on your screen (Android users: you may need to receive your first notification before you can edit this setting)

Note: If you don't download the app, you will still receive the alerts via email.

We will still be using Meet Mobile for meet results.

Have a wonderful rest of your Memorial Day Weekend,

Coach Lino
